Another warm one here in Texas.... Strong turnout, maybe 40 runners! Way to motivate people. Big thanks to Steve for bringing the ice towels for the last two weeks.
What a day! Huge congrats to all the competitors while it was “warm”, the sun stayed behind clouds for most of the 112 mile bike ride. You are a Ironman!
The TWRC Aid Station #6 went well thanks to captain Randy (18-hour-day) Bradley who volunteered to lead it months ago not knowing what he was getting into and all the volunteers (registered or not) that came out to help at the water station. UPDATE 5-22, Aid Station #6 received 3rd place out of all the Bike and Run aid stations. Way to go guys!

Getting a bit warmer but still nice...
Strong turnout for the Sunday run. A few drop-ins and a new member made an appearance. While some started at 5:30 for 20, most ran 10 at 7 am. A bit warmer these days but nothing like it will be in a few months.
A good turn out for the Sunday run! While it was a cold morning (~32 F), it was warmer then the last four mornings!
We had a cool (35F) run at 7 am from Hubbell & Hudson Kitchen off Research. Most ran 10 miles but a few hardy soles started earlier and ran 14-22 miles... New location, new routes, a great way to start the new year!
