POSTPONED - TWRC will once again manage the Ironman Texas Run Aid Station #6, Sat. April 24th 2021
UPDATE 3/16/21 - IMTX has been POSTPONED
More information can be found here: https://www.ironman.com/im-texas
The Woodlands Running Club will once again manage the Run Aid Station #6 in East shore (200 yards west of the East shore Club House) and we need about 100 volunteers for the three shifts:
o Run Course Aid Station #6 SHIFT #1: 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM
o Run Course Aid Station #6 SHIFT #2: 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM
o Run Course Aid Station #6 SHIFT #3: 6:30 PM to 11:45 PM
You do not have to be a TWRC member to volunteer. Besides passing out food & water, cheering and keeping the area clean for all the runners, duties include setting up (1st shift), working like crazy (2nd shift) and breaking down the aid station (3rd shift).
Sign up early to guarantee the shift you want (no password needed):

To help address COVID-19 concerns, all volunteers will be given a mask and this race will become a NO-CONTACT event so minimal risk from that perspective.
If you are interested in learning more about the changes that Ironman has implemented, please watch this great video about returning to racing.
