The Woodlands Running Club (TWRC) is a non-profit running club located in The Woodlands Texas, just North of Houston for runners of all abilities. If you are looking for track workouts, long runs, marathon training, 5Ks, fun runs & social events, trail running and running trips, you have found the right place.
TWRC promotes the running community in many ways, including hosting club runs, open social runs, races, and social events; engaging in community and charitable activities; and encouraging younger runners through our scholarship fund.
Since May 2009, The Woodlands Running Club (“TWRC”) has awarded two college scholarships to seniors who graduate in May or June from high schools in The Woodlands area. The scholarships are awarded to one female and one male graduate who have evidenced a strong commitment to running. The scholarship program was started as an initiative of former TWRC President Tony Allison and board members in 2009. That year the scholarships were $1000 each and in 2010 the amount of the scholarships were increased to $1500 each. The scholarship amount was increased to $2000 each in 2014.
Whether it was last year or more than a decade ago, we hope your experience running the Boston Marathon was one you'll always cherish. We don't often e-mail our past participants, but we're excited to tell you about a film we know you'll want to see.

Once again TWRC will be manning Run Course Aid Station #6 for Ironman Texas. We need approximately 100 volunteers.
WHERE: Run Course Aid Station #6 is in the same spot as previous years, the North end of East shore, near the East Shore Club House.
WHEN: Saturday April 22nd 2017
Looking for a faster (6:30-7:30 pace) group to run with in the early mornings? Please contact the Fast Run Group - Chris Weir using the TWRC website contact page for additional information.
Several years ago members of the club took a few trips down south to run Memorial park, we want to do this again before it gets hot.
A trip is planned for Saturday Feb 18th. We will meet at Market Street, car pool to Memorial park (park near the tennis center) and go for a run (probably thru River Oaks) and then shower at the tennis center and then for those that are interested, lunch at St Arnold's (or?).
Please email me if you are interested. President [@] TheWoodlandsRunningClub.org
My name is Lauren Ross and I'm the Women's Long Distance Running Chair for the Gulf Association of USATF. The Gulf association has a reputation for producing top youth track athletes and focusing energy on that group. Myself and two colleagues, Calum Neff and Robert Goyen, would like to expand that description to include an inclusive yet competitive circuit of post-collegiate runners as well.
Happy New Year!
